“TO BE MOM ... MEANS TO BE TENSED BECAUSE OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR LIFE OF A SMALL MAN, TRYING TO COMBINE IT WITH THE PERSONAL FREEDOM”
Invisible on the surface, but staying afloat and in another plane, from where it is seen deeper.
Artists-Moms with projects that were born with their children,
in the format of self-reflection - second childhood, and graphic dialogue with the child.
To be a mother for an artist means to be in suspense
because of the responsibility for the life of a small person, trying to combine it with the personal freedom of creativity. This lack of time is like the absence of the right to make a mistake. Overflow with strong feelings that find a way out in honest projects.
Three artists of the same generation, whose children has the same ages, and the projects are consonant with the theme of artistically conscious motherhood.

SUBMARINES part # ...
The idea of performance is how artists understand pregnancy and maternity. It is divided into four stages, each of which is associated with a certain phase of maternal expectation, filed in a metaphorical manner:
- languor and uncertainty,
- the appearance of color as a symbol of energy,
- the development of unique features,
- and, finally, the time of the manifestation, the time of naming.
At the same time, artists draw a parallel between these stages and how a creative idea begins and developed into verbal images.
The performance will be realized in progress. According to the authors, there are processes that cannot be accelerated; so the circle becomes an important visual symbol in the work, which brings a sense of cyclicality to the four-act structure of the performance, designed to accommodate a lifetime.

The performance will be presented
in the form of a four-act video, each part of which will appear once a week during the entire exhibition. Video release dates match with the release dates of the personal blocks of the virtual exhibition of each artist:
- June 2 blocks About author, My memory, video # 1
- June 9 block My puzzle, video # 2
- June 16 block My co-author, video # 3
- June 23 block My child, video # 4
